Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Mark Flinchum and Andy Manchir will serve as panelists at the National Center for Employee Ownership’s (NCEO) upcoming conference entitled, “Get the Most Out of Your ESOP: An ESOP Communication and Culture Forum.” Taking place on Sept. 27-28 at the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Downtown, the conference will feature presentations by ESOP professionals, experienced trainers, organizational development professionals, and insiders from successful companies.

Both Flinchum and Manchir will participate in day one of the conference entitled, “Building (or Rebuilding) an Ownership Culture.” Flinchum will serve as a panelist at the session, “Panel of Experts: Addressing Your Challenges.” Flinchum, who is a partner in KSM’s ESOP Services Group, has represented several ESOP-owned businesses and has structured a number of business sales to existing and newly formed ESOPs.

Manchir will serve as a panelist at the session, “The Impact of Plan Design, Governance Practices and Repurchase Obligation on Your Ownership Culture.” Manchir, a director in KSM’s ESOP Services Group, provides valuation and business advisory services for various purposes, with a particular emphasis on ESOP services.

Attendees will learn:

  • What it takes to shape or reshape an ownership culture and how growth and productivity are enhanced
  • How plan design, governance practices and repurchase obligation can have an impact on an ownership culture
  • What certain tools and resources are available to strengthen an ownership culture.
