Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Not-for-Profit Services Group will host “Building and Evaluating Programs for Your Not-for-Profit Organization” May 24 in Indianapolis.

This three-hour workshop will highlight the fundamental elements of program development and evaluation as it relates to being competitive in the not-for-profit sector. Erin Hedges and Jodi O’Connell of Hedges will guide attendees through an interactive session focused on understanding the logic modeling process, defining the different types of evaluation, identifying the continuum of evaluation and an organization’s current evaluation capacity, and recognizing relevant next steps to help you measure and communicate program success to achieve greater impact for your organization.

After attending this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify logic model components necessary for strong program development
  • Understand the different types of evaluation
  • Understand the purposes/benefits to evaluation and how to best use the results
  • Identify where their organization falls on the continuum of evaluation
  • Identify relevant and applicable next steps to move their organization along the continuum of evaluation
