Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Randy Hooper with the firm’s Transportation Services Group will participate in the Traffic Club of New York’s 2018 Annual Membership Meeting and Fall Seminar. Taking place Nov. 20 at the Grand Hyatt New York, the seminar will provide updates on two of the hottest topics in the transportation industry today – blockchain in logistics and electronic logging devices (ELDs). 

Hooper will moderate a panel discussion with industry leaders on “Electronic Logging Devices: One Year In – the Current Challenges” to discuss how the implementation of ELDs has changed the transportation industry. Additionally, the panel will delve into the temporary setbacks caused by the technological learning curve and what actions should be addressed to move forward successfully. 

The seminar will be followed by the association’s Fall membership meeting and luncheon.
