The 2017 Indiana Manufacturing Survey: Roadblocks to Prosperity revealed that with ready capital and an appetite for expansion, Indiana manufacturers were poised to invest in a strategy that would fuel growth and help them address the ongoing workforce shortage: automation. The results from the 2018 Indiana Manufacturing Survey indicate that not only are manufacturers now embracing this strategy, they are racing toward it at a faster pace than ever before.

What does this mean for the Indiana manufacturing workforce and the industry at large? Find out Oct. 24, 2018, when the final results of the survey will be released at the Indiana Manufacturers Hall of Fame Induction Luncheon, hosted by the Indiana Manufacturers Association and presented by Katz, Sapper & Miller.

In addition to presenting the final findings of the 2018 Indiana Manufacturing Survey, the luncheon will celebrate the positive achievements of long-time Indiana manufacturing companies by inducting them into the Indiana Manufacturers Hall of Fame. Tom Easterday, executive vice president of Subuaru of Indiana Automotive, will deliver a keynote address.
