Location: Chicago Marriott Schaumburg
50 N. Martingale Road
Schaumburg, IL 60173

Terry O’Neil, partner-in-charge of Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Veterinary Services Group, will speak at the American Veterinary Medical Association's (AVMA) Economic Summit, held Oct. 24-25 in Chicago, IL.

O’Neil’s session will focus on how current global statistics – revenue growth, number of invoices, normalized EBITDA, revenue segments and more – can be used to develop insights into veterinary business performance. The session will include a discussion on business analytics, including interpreting results, making analytics-based decisions and measuring results. In addition, O’Neil will review current issues and trends in veterinary practices – such as generational issues, corporate consolidation, online competition and low-cost competition.

This annual conference brings together the AVMA veterinary economics team along with educational and industry leaders to present current data and research on issues impacting the financial health of the veterinary profession and its markets. Presentations will cover a wide range of topics such as student debt, practice finance, consumer preference, product markets and more.
