Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Mike Lee, a partner in the firm’s Transaction Services Group, will moderate a panel at the 2018 IU Kelley School of Business Private Equity Conference. The conference, which takes place on Oct. 4 at the Conrad Indianapolis, will gather private equity specialists, investment bankers, and industry professionals to discuss the latest trends and strategies.

Lee’s panel discussion, “Investing out of Multi-Strategy Funds,” will examine how multi-strategy funds have evolved over time and allow firms to differentiate themselves in today’s marketplace. The panel will include the following:

  • Josh Liebow, managing director at Hancock Capital Management
  • Rick Spencer, managing director at Barings
  • Robert Landis, founding partner at The Riverside Company

Other panel discussions will explore topics such as succession planning in private equity, successfully raising a first fund, and underwriting buy-and-build strategies. Sophocles Zoullas, CEO of Zenith Shipping, will serve as the conference’s keynote speaker.
