PROFILE

Tom Nowak is a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Business Advisory Group. He has been with the firm since 1988 and in public accounting since 1986. Tom provides accounting, tax, financial and general business consulting support services for a wide variety of clients to establish their growth and maintain successful businesses. These services include preparing financial statements and tax returns and obtaining financing alternatives as well as business plans and structure, forecasts and projections, and tax strategies and planning. Tom also serves as a member of the firm’s Construction Services Group, Dealership Services Group, Emerging Business Group, and Life Sciences and Technology Services Group.

EDUCATION

Tom received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and management from Ball State University.

ASSOCIATIONS AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana CPA Society and the Indiana Subcontractor Association’s Education Committee. He remains active in the community, recently serving as president of the Central Indiana Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association, treasurer of the Carmel Clay Chamber of Commerce, and member of the Carmel Clay Veterans Memorial Corporation.

Tom is the current vice president for the FC Pride Soccer Club and is also active in St. Simon Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Ball State University Alumni Association. Tom is currently participating in the United Way Ardath Burkhart Leadership United Series.
