Ron Smith is a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller's Audit and Assurance Services Department. He has been with the firm since 2000 and has been in public accounting since 1995. Ron supervises and manages audits and reviews of financial statements. He also advises clients and firm members on accounting, reporting, auditing, compliance and internal control matters. In addition, Ron is a member of the firm’s Manufacturing and Distribution Services Group.

EDUCATION

Ron graduated with distinction from Manchester College with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Accountancy degree.

ASSOCIATIONS AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Ron is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. He was previously treasurer and served on the finance committee and board of directors of Prevent Child Abuse Indiana and was also a member of the United Way of Central Indiana Hamilton County Advisory Board.
