Matthew M. Cohen, CPA



Matt Cohen is a partner in Katz, Sapper & Miller New York office and is a member of the firm’s Business Advisory Group. Matt devises and implements tax and financial statement strategies for corporations, partnerships, and individuals, enabling them to minimize tax liability and thoughtfully plan for the future. He advises clients in a wide variety of industries, including not-for-profit, financial services, manufacturing and distribution, hospitality, arts and culture, and professional services, and has extensive experience serving start-up businesses.


Matt received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Brooklyn College.


Matt is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs. He also serves as chairman of the not-for-profit organization Powering Potential and is a member of The Resource Group of New York City.
