“Don’t wish the time away” relates to enjoying the process as opposed to wishing for completion. I once had a few broken bones at the beginning of summer. If I’d have waited until everything healed to enjoy my life, the summer would have passed me by. The same principle applies at work. Take satisfaction in the progress you can make every day, even if it takes time for a project to be completed.
