PROFILE

Keith Gambrel is a partner in Katz, Sapper & Miller's Audit and Assurance Services Department. Prior to joining the firm in 1990, Keith spent 13 years with a national accounting firm in Chicago. His expertise in a variety of complex business matters provides ongoing benefit to KSM’s market presence and sustained growth.

Keith co-chairs the firm’s Not-for-Profit and Governmental Services Group as well as the Real Estate Services Group. During recent years, KSM’s Real Estate Services Group has grown to a dominant market position, serving many locally based and nationally recognized real estate companies. In these industries, Keith specializes in the planning, supervision and management of financial statement audits, reviews and consulting engagements. Since 2001, he has served as one of the two members of KSM’s Executive Committee, sharing in the strategic growth, vision and success of the firm.

EDUCATION

Keith graduated with distinction and honors from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree.

ASSOCIATIONS AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Keith is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana CPA Society, the Illinois CPA Society and the Government Finance Officers Association. He is an alumnus of the Stanley K. Lacy Leadership Program and has been honored as a Range Line Pioneer by the city of Carmel, and a Sagamore of the Wabash, by the state of Indiana for his fervent community service. Currently serving on the board of directors of Conner Prairie Museum, Keith was previously treasurer of the Indianapolis Local Organizing Committee of the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Final Four. He also served as president of Woodland Country Club and as an officer with various charitable and economic development organizations.
