PROFILE

Jamie Ellis is the Chief of Operations and Finance of Katz, Sapper & Miller. With more than 15 years of experience in managing professional services firms, Jamie oversees the finance, human resources, information technology, facilities and general administrative functions of the firm. Jamie, who began his career as a public accounting auditor, previously served as corporate controller for a subsidiary of a national staffing firm, the chief financial officer of a regional CPA firm, and the chief operating officer of a regional law firm.

EDUCATION

Jamie received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, with a minor in economics, from the Pennsylvania State University. He also earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University Maryland.

ASSOCIATIONS AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Jamie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Financial Executives International as well as the Association for Accounting Administration, where he served as the vice president of a regional chapter. Jamie also served on the board of the York Symphony Orchestra in York, Pa., and was actively involved in the annual York Health Foundation Kids Campaign.

In 2008, Jamie was given the distinction of “Smart CFO” by SmartCFO magazine.
