Jim Nestor is principal and chief human resources officer for Katz, Sapper & Miller. With 30 years of experience in the human resources field, Jim heads up all human resource efforts for the firm, including HR strategy, recruiting, utilization, wellness, benefits, performance management, and training. He has extensive experience in performance management and coaching, change management, compensation, talent management and recruiting, while crossing several industries and geographies in his career with companies like GE, WPP Companies (formerly Young & Rubicam), Rolls-Royce, and Irwin Union Bank.
Jim received both a Bachelor of Arts degree in social science and a Master of Human Resources and Labor Relations degree from Michigan State University. He holds the designations of Senior Professional in Human Resources and SHRM Senior Certified Professional.
Jim is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Indiana CPA Society. He serves as an advisory board member of the Boomer Consulting HR Talent Circle. Jim previously served on the Operations Steering Committee for PrimeGlobal, one of the world’s largest international associations of accounting firms as well as the board of the Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation.
