Community Involvement

Katz, Sapper & Miller is committed not only to the clients we serve, but the community we live in. Community outreach begins with our partners and staff, who dedicate time and resources to hundreds of organizations. Our commitment extends to our employees’ contributions to various charitable organizations that are matched up to a specific dollar amount annually by the firm.

In 2009, Katz, Sapper & Miller established its annual, firm-wide volunteer day of community service. On this day, we encourage our employees to give something back to the city we live in by volunteering their time to benefit an area in need.

The firm’s 2011 Community Day project supported the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Legacy Project’s revitalization efforts for the Near Eastside of Indianapolis. Katz, Sapper & Miller volunteers participated in more than 15 simultaneous improvement projects throughout the day. Additionally, our volunteers, in conjunction with Indy-east Asset Development and Rebuilding Together-Indianapolis, assisted in the rehabilitation of a home as part of the Legacy Housing Homeowner Repair program.
