PROFILE

Chris Felger is a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Audit and Assurance Services Department. Chris’ background includes managing audits and reviews of financial statements as well as advising clients in accounting, reporting, compliance and internal control issues. He is a member of the firm’s Construction and Transportation Services Groups.

Chris has served as the CFO of a large privately held company, providing him with invaluable insight into the client side and giving him a greater understanding of serving his clients’ needs.

EDUCATION

Chris graduated with distinction from Manchester College with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Accountancy degree.

Chris holds the designations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Certified Financial Manager (CFM).

ASSOCIATIONS AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Chris is a member of the Association for Operations Management (APICS), the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and the Central Indiana Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). Additionally, Chris regularly participates in various events of the American Trucking Associations, Ohio Trucking Association and the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association. He serves on the membership committee of the Central Indiana Chapter of CFMA and is also involved with the Construction Industry Certified Public Accountants and Consultants Association (CICPAC). Chris is a past vice president of finance/treasurer for the Central Indiana Chapter of APICS and was recognized as board member of the year for the year ended June 30, 2011. He is also a past president of the Central Indiana Chapter of IMA.
