Casse Tate is a manager in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Business Advisory Group and a member of the Not-for-Profit and Governmental Services Group. She prepares business and individual tax returns and financial statements as well as advises clients in accounting, reporting and compliance. Casse specializes in the coordination and preparation of federal and state tax returns for KSM's not-for-profit clients.
Casse also plays a key role with KSM Charitable Foundation Services (KSMCFS), providing leadership and direction of the day-to-day activities. KSMCFS, a Katz, Sapper & Miller Company, provides back-office services for the philanthropic community. Additionally, Casse is the primary internal contact for implementation of new clients and integration of the clients’ processes with the grants management software.
Casse received both a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and a Master of Science degree in accounting from Ball State University. She was treasurer of Beta Alpha Psi accounting honorary and senior vice president of Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity. Casse has also earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP) professional designation from the American College.
Casse is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. She is a board member of the Ball State Young Accounting Advisory Council, a member of the Indiana Motorsports Association, and serves on the board and finance committee of Dress for Success Indianapolis. She is also a member of the National Editorial Board for Profitable Solutions for Nonprofits as well as a 2010 graduate of the United Way of Central Indiana’s leadership development program, Leadership United.
