Brittany Schutter is a partner in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Business Advisory Group. Brittany provides strategic guidance to businesses and their owners on federal and multistate tax compliance and educates them on current tax legislation and emerging topics to help them make informed business decisions. She has experience in mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring, and advises clients on the tax implications of those transactions. Brittany is an active member of the firm’s Transportation Services Group.

Brittany graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Ball State University, where she also received a Master of Science degree in accounting.

Brittany is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Indiana CPA Society, the Indiana Motor Truck Association’s Future Leaders of Indiana Council, the Tennessee Trucking Association, and the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA). She serves on the Ball State Miller College Young Alumni Accounting Advisory Council and on the advisory board for Rock Prairie Church. Brittany previously served on the board for the Emily Yott Foundation, an organization committed to helping families that are dealing with childhood cancer.

Brittany is a recipient of the 2020 Emerging Leader Award from the Paul W. Parkison Department of Accounting at Ball State University, where she has also previously been honored as a recipient of the 3 Under 30 Award.
