Brian Schmidt is a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Business Advisory Group. He has been in public accounting since 1994. Brian provides tax, accounting and consulting services to a wide variety of businesses and industries. These services include tax planning and strategies, tax compliance, financial statement analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and financing assistance. Brian is a member of the firm’s Life Sciences and Technology Services Group as well as the Manufacturing and Distribution Services Group. He is a KSM mentor and serves on the firm’s Strategic IT Planning Committee.

EDUCATION

Brian received both a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Accountancy degree from Miami University.

ASSOCIATIONS AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Brian is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana CPA Society and the Ohio CPA Society. He is also a member of the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors and serves as chairman of the board of School on Wheels.
