Terry O’Neil, partner-in-charge of Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Veterinary Services Group, will speak at the American Animal Hospital Association's (AAHA) annual conference. Taking place March 30 - April 2 in Nashville, TN, this event is the only veterinary conference in the U.S. focusing exclusively on companion animal care.
The conference will feature educational sessions focused on a variety of topics, such as veterinary assistants and technicians, practice management, scientific issues, and dental labs. O’Neil will present four unique practice management sessions:
- Budgeting for Veterinary Hospitals
This session will review the fundamentals of budget creation, management and analytics. Attendees will leave with a guide for implementing a budget at their own hospital.
- Financial Statements 101
Going beyond the basics of financial statements, this session will get to the heart of the matter – why a fundamental understanding of financial statements will help ensure a hospital’s well-being.
- Key Performance Indicators: Simplifying the Tools that Gauge Hospital Performance
This session will demystify and simplify key performance indicators (KPIs), explaining how to use them to effectively gauge and improve a hospital’s performance.
- Profit-Enhancement Workshop: Finding the Root Cause
In this interactive workshop, attendees will not only learn how to deconstruct problems to diagnose their profit issues; they will develop a unique action plan for treatment that is designed to enhance their own hospital’s profits.
AAHA’s annual conference provides the opportunity to learn best practices from industry experts, discover the latest in products and services, and network with veterinary professionals from around the country.
