Lee and Sullivan to Speak at 2017 Kelley School Private Equity Conference

Posted 4:00 AM by

Katz, Sapper & Miller's Mike Lee and Kevin Sullivan will speak at the 2017 Kelley School Private Equity Conference on Sept. 21 at the Conrad Indianapolis. This conference, which KSM is sponsoring, is a collaboration between the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and Hammond, Kennedy, Whitney & Company, Inc. and is designed to bring together professionals in the private equity community to discuss current industry topics.

Both Lee and Sullivan will participate in a panel discussion covering the Trump administration’s impact on private equity. Lee, who will serve as moderator for the panel, is a partner in KSM’s Audit and Assurance Services Group with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and due diligence engagements. Sullivan, a partner in KSM’s Tax Services Group, will use his M&A experience to share his insight on how Trump's tax plan could influence private equity.

Panel discussions will feature M&A industry leaders and will focus on the following topics:

  • Alternatives to private equity business models and the entrance of the family office
  • How limited partners are evaluating allocations now and in the future
  • The Trump administration and its impact on private equity
  • How technology is changing private equity investment strategies

Indiana Sen. Todd Young will serve as the conference keynote speaker.
