Flinchum, Hooper, and Lyon to Speak at 2017 ATA National Accounting and Finance Council Conference

Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Mark Flinchum, Randy Hooper, and Ben Lyon will present at the 2017 American Trucking Associations' (ATA) National Accounting and Finance Council Annual Conference. Taking place on Oct. 23-24 in Orlando, FL, the conference will feature presentations by accounting, finance, and risk management professionals to address top issues facing the trucking industry.

Hooper and Lyon will co-present the session, “Problem Solving and Profitability,” which will focus on why creating a problem solving, profit-minded culture is vital to a carrier’s business and how to utilize key performance indicators to address profitability issues. Both serve as leaders in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Transportation Services Group and actively participate in speaking engagements and industry membership groups. 

Flinchum will present to the small carriers committee on “Succession Planning and Business Continuity,” which will focus on understanding business value, options for succession planning, and business continuity through employee stock ownership plans (ESOP). Flinchum, a partner in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Transportation Services Group and ESOP Services Group, is a contributing author to numerous firm and trade publications and serves as a regular presenter at national conferences.
