Everyone who has interned at KSM notes that the people here are great. Until I worked closely with the KSM family, I did not recognize the veracity of this statement. The staff members are exceptionally professional, while still remaining very friendly and helpful. Everyone was understanding and supportive of my position as an intern. I had extensive interaction with managers, directors and partners, who were all welcoming and responsive to my questions.

I interviewed with so many companies and didn't know exactly what I was looking for in an internship; but when I had my interview with KSM, I almost instantly felt that it was going to be a good fit for me ... and I was right. I never felt like I was "just an intern," which is something that I feel really helped to make the experience more beneficial. I have learned so much in such a short period of time. Overall, the entire experience was great and I am so happy to have had the opportunity.

Before I started my internship at KSM, I repeatedly heard about the KSM family atmosphere. I now understand what that means. Everyone with whom I came in contact was always helpful and related to me as a co-worker rather than as my superior. KSM offered many ways to learn more about the employees, which added to the comfortable atmosphere. Partner lunches were a great way to converse with upper management and learn about their experiences with the firm. I also had the opportunity to participate in sporting events after work, which provided a great way to stay active and become better acquainted with the staff outside of the office. KSM is a model firm that really demonstrates that it cares about its employees.

Not only was this experience amazing, but it was absolutely wonderful to work with the staff. I became friends with the other interns and staff members throughout this spring, and I will keep in touch with many of them after I leave. KSM makes a conscious effort to make its interns feel comfortable every step of the way. The Ambassador Program helps you feel like someone is always there if you need help. I can honestly say I have no complaints about the entire experience. I enjoyed every minute of it!
